Mission:Science

Mission:Science is the NASA Science Mission Directorate Website for teens, targeting a 7th through 11th grade audience. The site highlights NASA’s educational science resources, and puts an emphasis on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Mission:Science was one of the first NASA Websites to feature a mobile-specific version. For this project I designed the site and led a 3-member team of multimedia producers to develop both the front and back ends. I also coordinated with the customer, project management, a content developer and UX specialist. We conducted two formal usability studies, using the results to refine the site’s design and information architecture.
