NASA Science: A Journey of Discovery

NASA Science: A Journey of Discovery is an iPad application demonstrating how NASA’s science missions are answering important science questions. Each section was given a unique design and user experience, tailored to the most important elements of each science subject. We developed the app using PhoneGap, a framework that allowed the app to be built using HTML5, CSS3, and JQuery Mobile, expediting the learning curve for the development team and allowing for future distribution to other mobile platforms and the web. For the project I led a 9-member team, comprised of developers, designers, a writer and a UX specialist. I presented the app concept to the customer and guided the team through the project lifecycle from research and conceptualization to the public release.
